Quack!

Good to be back!

My human and I went on a long vacation. We cruized most of the way around the world on a sailboat.

While rubber ducks don't normally take to sailboats, we have our own ducky means to get around (webbed feet sure help), this trip was quite enjoyable.

I've been away from the tub so long I nearly forgot how to quack!

Well, I hear the water running in the bathroom... there is no excuse for a rubber duck that is not ready to be ducky in the tub!

Quaaaack!

What a ducky day!

I hope you don't mind if I spread my rubber ducky wings and let out a relaxing quack. You probably didn't know that rubber ducks really enjoy to do ducky things with their friends-- whether they be rubber ducks or not.

Today my human took me to visit a friend and we got to go swimming in a very cold lake for a while. I'm used to nice warm ducky tubwater--- about 90 degrees or so. A 50 degree lake is just not ducky! Not ducky at all! My rubber duck skin was starting to harden and if it was much colder I might have cracked.

Thankfully, we did come home to where it's nice and warm-- just ducky. Whew.

Off for a warm tub swim!

Quack often,

Quaaaack!

Darn, I promised myself that I'd write on here more often. It's not good for a rubber duck to spend too much time away from the computer--- as computers are ducky, every rubber ducky knows that.

Oh well, it's just water under my webbed feet--- or under my wings, so to quack.

Life is ducky, what can I say. I went to the store the other day and bought a book on how rubber ducks are cared for in various countries-- quite an eye opener. I'm sure glad that this ducky is living here--- and not there!

Time to go for my stroll down the left side of the tub.

Have a quacker,

Woa doh!

Gosh, it's been months since I was on here!

Rubber Ducks are not known to be tardy in keeping everyone updated on their quacking adventures. If I were just an ordinary rubber ducky it would be easy to keep this blog updated, but I've been having a ducky time doing tons of quacked up things.

If I could make it up to my loyal readers I would...

More timely duckness to follow.

Have a rubber ducky day!

Woa Be Quackeeeeee!

April showers bring on those may flowers!

This is quacking weather! Spring and quacks go together-- I'm sure you knew that. Ask any rubber ducky and they will tell you (in their own quacky way) that the quacks are best for rubber ducks in the spring-- and April is the best time in the spring!

My human and I plan to go down to the river in a few days and get some early season duck swimming in. This May there is to be a rubber duck race in our town and this rubber ducky is going to be in duckie shape to do well. Hopefully I will win the race, or at least show up amongst the first ten ducks.

Time to put more lotion on my webbing.

Have a quacker,

Woa Be Dohhh....

Spring is in the air!

This morning I went right to the patio and let out the first good quack of spring. As a rubber duck, I felt it was my civic duty to quack-- and to let everyone know that spring has finally sprung.

I guess Punxetawny Phil was pretty close when he predicted spring would come after six weeks.... more like seven weeks, but that's close enough.

I better run, my human wants to take a bath and I've got to get all the other rubber ducks in line...

Have a quacker,

Woa Quack,

It's so great to be back home.

My human and I took a short vacation-- a short trip to Bali. It's a really nice island in Indonesia. The people we met there all loved rubber ducks. I was ducky with joy.

We had a full week in paradise. But now it's time to get back to normal quacking and unpack our bags. More quacks later.
